We care deeply about creativity

Kakko began with a feeling that something was missing.
Not a venue or a platform, BUT something harder to name.

The feeling of being surrounded by CREATORS. People who are honest about the uncertainty of MAKING, and who keep showing up anyway.

We are a small Tokyo-based team creating events and experiences for independent creatives. We believe that art can transcend cultures and boundaries. It carries stories, creates emotion, and gives us a way to connect with people and perspectives beyond our own.
Every gathering brings together different artists, spaces, disciplines, and cultures, but always with the same intention: to grow a community of people who share a genuine curiosity, respect, and love for art — and who feel connected to something larger than themselves.

We believe in process over polish, and that some of the most meaningful things happen in the space between people, cultures, and disciplines.

That in-between space is what we call Kakko.

WHAT WE DO
WE START THE CONVERSATION, SPACE, THE MOMENT
WE START THE CONVERSATION, SPACE, THE MOMENT
We produce events across THE WORLD that bring together creatives from different fields.
But Kakko is about more than events.
We care about what happens around them too — the conversations between creators, the unexpected collaborations, the friendships, and the inspiration that keeps people creating.
We know creativity can feel isolating at times, and that much of the joy comes from finding people who understand the process. That’s why we create spaces where creatives can connect openly, exchange ideas, and feel part of a community that continues beyond a single gathering.

Every event is shaped with intention, so it feels less like an exhibition and more like finding yourself in the right room, surrounded by people who understand why you create.
